Zoom!

Great job at the race! Let us know how you're feeling today!

1. Did you wear the right stuff? Were you too cold/too hot? Right socks? Right shoes?

2. Besides being tired, were you in physical pain during the race?

3. Does anything on your body hurt today?

4. Are you glad that you did it?

5. Will you do it again?

Great job everyone!!

If you're sore today, that's normal. The best way to deal with it is to go for a walk (nice and easy for 20-30 minutes) and stretch afterward. Use ice on feet, knees, etc. if you're really sore.

Hello-

We were just awesome yesterday. I am so amazed at Buzzy coming in
5th placed. Oh to be that young again! Kaitlyn and Nicole you guys were so quick also.

My hips and legs were a little sore yesteday but today suprisingly enough nothing hurts today!!!!

I had loads of fun and can't wait to do it again. I will probably do something on Thanksgiving but for sure the Jingle Bells Run in December.

Excellent job everyone!

It was hard, but I'm proud of all of us. It was amazing the difference that the cold air made on my lungs and breathing. Since I'm a cold weather wimp, I tend to train on the treadmill where I'm nice and comfy. I may have to rethink this strategy if we do many more of these.

Thanks for the weight lifting session, Em. I'm nice and sore today. :) Guess that's what was supposed to happen.

Overall, I didn't really suffer ill effects of the cold yesterday. I seemed to be dressed fine, just felt it in my lungs and seemed to make catching my breath harder.

One of the funniest things yesterday was busting Vickie on how many times she says, "Bob says". Cracked me up! Bob, you're a legend! (Awesome job on the 10K yesterday. You seemed to breeze right through it. Of course after the marathon this would be a breeze.)

Good Job everyone! We have some speedsters in our mist!

I never thought I would be out there running a race and especially not in the cold. I thought it was great and everyone did a terrific job. Boy we have come far really fast. I think it really helps having a group of people to keep you on track.

Yesterday during the race my lower back started to hurt and today one of my knees is sore, but other then that I feel surprisingly good.

I think I was dressed fine for the weather and got hot during the race, but was able to take my jacket and gloves off.

Just like Vickie I plan to run the race on Thanksgiving Day and hopefully the jingle bell run too. It would be nice to do at least one race a month.

Yeah Vickie said "Bob say" like 15 times yesterday. It was a hoot. Bob you are her running authority!!!

Great job everyone! While you were trotting the race I was watching my niece sleep through her baptism service. :0 What a hoot! Don't you wish you could just sleep whenever and wherever you please. How funny! Great job with the race!

Way to go panthers and parents! Although I am such a fair weather runner, I am glad to be able to say I did a race this past weekend. I find that bragging right motivates me to keep running. I will sign up for a race every few months just to keep the training going. If I commit my hard earned $$, then I'm not going to waste it by not being prepared!

Congrats to Nicole and Kaitlyn for making the NBC news @ 6 Sunday night on their coverage of this race! You girls looked awesome and should be an inspiriation to other panthers who might think that they are too young! Never too young (or old) to get out and get some exercise!

Way to go!
