Great job Gems!

Tell us your plans now that the Turkey race is over. What do you plan to do next?

Our Sunday group has shrunk......... a lot. Tell us if you plan to rejoin the gaggle. THat will help me decide how to reorganize my Sunday schedule.

I did the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day - I was so happy that I made it the whole five miles! I did it in my goal time, I hadn't actually run that far before, so I didn't know if I had it in me or not!

I have no more excuses, I ate bad bad bad over the long weekend! Not good - I now have THREE weeks before the holiday show. Mercy, I cannot be carrying around any extra weight for all the stuff I'm supposed to be doing! So that's three weeks of NO CHEATING at all.

I will be back on the diet and running schedule so anyone that needs a running partner on the weekends let me know! I run pretty late at night during the week, but we can meet up and run on the weekends!

Emily-

I plan on staying in the gaggle. If you need to rearrange the time on Sunday I can be flexible. If the group stays small I will try to let you know if I can't make it so you can plan your schedule accordingly.

Now that I know I can run 3 miles, the next plan is to run the Snowflake Race in Dublin on December 14th.

My next plan is to go to the wellness center at Honda and have a fitness assessment done where they take measurements, body fat, etc. Based upon your goals, they will actually set up a fitness plan which includes weight training and walk you through it a couple times and show you how to use all of the weights, show proper form, etc. Should have already been doing this.(especially since it is free) I did this once before and found it very helpful. I also need to take advantage of the cardio equipment and group exercise classes there also.

Abi, don't feel bad about the food. I also have been bad with my eating but today it's back to being good with the eating (or at least trying)

Sundays are rough for me since I live so far away from the gym. I just haven't been able to get my mind back on track for running. And the cold certainly doesn't help.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Em - I can't make the Jingle Bell run this weekend. Mariellen is having her baby on Wednesday, so I'm heading back up to Cleveland on Friday to see the little little.

I plan on running the Snowflake run in Dublin also. I have not been able to run as much with this stinking class I am in taking up my sanity and time, but I can push it and make it to the end of the race. Plus since it gets dark so early I think I am going to have to retreat to the Powell Y and hit the treadmill.
I still need to take my measurements. I have yet to lose a pound (cookies might be the culprit) but I feel like my hips have slimmed down some.

I ran the Flying Feather and overcame interesting obstacles such as a bloody nose that day!! So not my best time, but thanks to the chatting with and encouragement of Amber and Vickie we did it!!

I plan on keeping in on Sundays.

I have moved my workout inside - early weekday and Sat / Sun mornings.

I'm such a fair weather runner :)

I love the encouragement on this blog, but do not expect to be doing any more outside races unless they are offering wine again! LOL
